Dr. Emill Levasseur Sanchez, a distinguished physician and leader in the medical field, was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He graduated summa cum laude from the Iberoamerican University and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, affiliated with Weill Medical College, Cornell University. He is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. 

He has extensive experience in both clinical and leadership roles, including positions at AdventHealth, Pioneer Medical Group, and Envision Healthcare. His leadership experience includes roles such as Chief of Medicine and Director of Hospital Medicine for the AdventHealth Heartland Division. He has also served as Section Director of Hospital Services and Faculty for both the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs at AdventHealth Sebring. He is a certified Healthcare Executive Leadership Fellow from The Healthcare Leadership Institute and held a board certification in Health Care Quality and Management with a sub-specialty in Physician Advisor from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Physicians (ABQAURP).

Dr. Levasseur holds active medical licenses across all states in the U.S. plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, enabling him to practice telemedicine broadly. His scholarly work includes presentations at prestigious conferences like the American Thoracic Society.
